The Peter Badcock Fund

Honouring Veterans Through Art

Peter Badcock’s work captured not only the faces and landscapes of Southern Africa, but also the human stories of conflict, sacrifice, and resilience. His pencil sketches and words have become part of the historical memory of the Rhodesian Bush War and South Africa’s Border War, giving voice to those who lived it.

To continue this legacy, we have established the Peter Badcock Fund. A portion of proceeds from every sale of Badcock’s books and artwork – whether original pieces, limited prints, or reissued collections – is dedicated to supporting veterans’ associations in South Africa and among the Rhodesian veteran community.

Where Funds Go

The Peter Badcock Fund directly contributes to initiatives that:

  • Preserve and honour the heritage of those who served.
  • Support veteran welfare, remembrance, and community projects.

Your Purchase Makes a Difference

Every time you purchase a Peter Badcock book or artwork, you’re not only acquiring a piece of history – you’re actively helping to sustain the memory and wellbeing of the men and women whose lives were shaped by service.

Together, we can ensure that Peter Badcock’s vision of truth, remembrance, and humanity continues to live on – not only through art, but also through tangible support for the veterans his work so powerfully represents.
